About Us
Be is part of a charity called Ignite which works with young people primarily in south Wales. Be seeks to work with teenage girls and their youth leaders to find what it means to be a girl in this generation. About the Editor
Hi my name is Meg, if you have ever been to one of our events you will have seen me there. I am currently a student studying youth and community work at Newport University and I work for Ignite 2 days a week keeping this website up to date. Unless otherwise stated most of the articles on this site are written by me and all of them have been hand selected and read by me. I grew up in a small village just outside Cardiff and have been going to Ignite events since I was about 14. I got married to Mark (who you will have seen hosting our main Ignite events if you have ever been to them) in December 2010 and we live in Pontypridd with our dog Loki and turtle Eric. If you have any questions or comments about the website or an article on the website don’t hesitate to contact me via the contact page of the site.
